The New River Gorge is a world-class climbing destination for sport and trad climbers located near Fayetteville, WV.  The many local gorges of the New, Gauley and Meadow Rivers provide thousands of climbs, not to mention great whitewater rafting.  It is 2.5 to 3 hours South from Morgantown, WV and Cooper’s Rock State Forest.
