Tim Keenan came to West Virginia University to race mountain bikes, which he did for three years. However, his passions started to shift his sophomore year, when the climbing wall opened at WVU. Tim began climbing five days a week and quickly became a regular at Cooper’s Rock. He spent time repeating many of the established boulder problems and developing others with fellow WVU student Dan Brayack. The two of them later published the Cooper’s Rock Bouldering Guide in 2005, which is currently the most up-to-date guidebook for the area’s bouldering. Tim is now living in New Paultz, NY as a Petzl representative.
